Status: Assistant or Associate Professor (full-time with tenure)

Field of specialization: Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, English Education (TESOL/TEFL), Literature, or Cultural Studies

Place of Work: In principle at Kagurazaka Campus

Duties: Teach seven 90-minute English skills classes, including academic writing, TOEIC, and / or TOEFL, per week, and assist with departmental activities, including entrance examination related work and administrative work.

Qualifications:
1) Native English-level proficiency (who preferably has adequate Japanese proficiency for day-to-day work at the university)

2) Have Ph.D. at the time of appointment, or expected to be completed within three years after appointment.

3) Have academic accomplishments in teaching and studying English

4) Have teaching experience of at least two years at the university level and have a keen interest in teaching.

Screening: Screening will be based on documentary examination and an interview for the finalists. Interviewees will be asked to present a short demonstration lesson. Interview transportation costs are to be borne by the applicant.
